Xylitol is a natural therapeutic sweetner, derived from plants and vegetables, recognized for its antimicrobial
properties. Unlike sugar, Xylitol is composed of five carbon atoms which have limited metabolism and

mouth, which prohibits the growth of a variety of bacteria.
