QUESTION
I just started taking damage control vitamins still not having no energy and was interested in some of your products but don't know is it ok to take w the damage control and will anything help w energy? also have alot of sinus problems, insomnia, age 43yo. And by taking just one cap a day of your products would that be ok or taking the prescribed amount you suggest? Its kind of expensive. Please advise thankyou.

Seagate Answers- Dear Marsha,
If you just started Damage Control for energy, then you should probably give it a chance. Since we don't know which of our products you are referring to regarding wanting to take just one capsule per day, we really can't answer this. However, I can say that the number of capsules recommended by us on t.v. and in our literature and on our bottles is the result of a lot of experience and results from testing on many people. If you plan to just use one capsule a day because of trying to save money, then you probably should not spend your money on this at all.
The products we sell do not cost anywhere near the $129 of Master Formula and should not be that difficult financially to be able to try.
If you are having trouble with energy and sinuses, perhaps you are dealing with fungal disorders. We certainly cannot diagnose or treat anyone over the internet. If I thought I had a sinus problem and fungal disorder, I would consider that doctors have recommended our Olive Leaf Extract and going on a low carb diet like Doug Kaufmann's Phase I diet.

- My wife has been using olive leaf extract for herpes for some years now. It works. It isn't psychological. When that stuff hits, it hits hard. What is nice for you is that your brand seems to work better than others. We have tried several other brands that are less expensive. If they worked as well, believe me I would buy them instead of yours. But they don't work as well. I don't know why, but its a fact.

It is really not that miraculous that one product might work over a similar product. We process our extract in a way that it does not destroy any of the phytochemicals in the olive leaf. It is not just the oleuropein that is active. There are a whole group of polyphenols that work together.

- On Doug Kaufmann's show, he has mentioned alternating antifungals such as grapeseed extract and olive leaf extract. Is there a benefit from taking more than one at a time when you are trying to fight something off and then alternating for maintenance purposes? For how long should you use one product before going to another?

As I understand it Doug Kaufmann recommends alternating the use of antifungals when you are fighting a very difficult fungal infection, not when you are doing maintenance. A week or two on one then a week or two on the other is about how I would alternate it. Caprylic acid is another good antifungal to put into the rotation. Keep in mind that that supplements alone are not going to solve the whole problem. It is a lot more effective combining the antifungals with a diet such as Doug's Phase I.

For regular arthritis they recommend the regular shark cartilage. We also offer very good literature on the uses of each one of our products that we would be happy to mail to you.

- I saw your new product on Your Health this morning. Last year, my son had a terrible case of cystic acne and was on Accutane for 6 months. He has been off of Accutane for 5 months. His skin is no longer breaking out however there are ridges on his skin which I hope will not be scars. Would this new product help his skin become smooth and even again. He is 19 years old. Thank you.

It might, but cannot guarantee the results you are looking for. We have tested it on people that had active acne with excellent results. However, this is a new product and we have much to learn about it. We have been testing it since last December for a lot of different problems. Let us know what happens if you do try it.

My 10 year old son, weight 72 lbs., used to take Ritalin for ADHD. I have heard that fish oil capsules (brain food)and vitamin E are not only a safer alternative, but more effective because they supply the missing stimulus needed to help the brain function properly. My question is how much and how often to give the capsules. Are there certain ingredients to look for in the capsules? We also add first to this quest, our faith in God and positive confessions of the Word of God. Thank you for your time!

The medical studies as reported on Doug Kaufmann's show give alot of promise. There is no other ingredient but shark liver oil in these capsules. I would take 2/day. Let us know how it goes.

We make grape seed extract, and also olive leaf extract (go to) -- http://www.seagateproducts.com/olive-leaf-extract.html... not grape leaf extract. Either one is safe for kids. Just divide the adult suggested use in proportion to their weight.
The olive leaf is a natural antimicrobial product that we suggest using after there is an infection. However, it is really the Beta 204 (go to) --http://www.seagateproducts.com/beta-204.html that is for children, comes in child-sized capsules and that helps to boost the immune system.
