 Unique: Seagate Shark Fin Cartilage is the highest protein (90%), purest form of shark cartilage available. Seagate is the only manufacturer of this product in the world.
Processing: Seagate has been processing shark fins and shark cartilage for human consumption since 1981. In 1994 we decided that these fine strands of protein fiber contained within the shark fin were far too important as a potential source of angiogenesis inhibition, that we discontinued processing of this raw material for the oriental food market. All of our shark fins are hand-processed. Each individual fibrous strand is carefully extracted from the raw fins. These fibers are freeze-dried, and cryogenically ground into a fine powder to preserve their delicate high level protein composition.
Angiogenesis: Laboratory testing by doctors at Harvard Medical School in 1979 indicated that shark cartilage has an antiangiogenic effect on tumors, stopping the tumors growth by causing the surrounding blood vessels to shrink away from the tumor, thereby starving the tumors supply of water, food, and oxygen.
Laboratory testing of Seagate’s Shark Fin Cartilage powder indicated that it has a much higher antiangiogenic activity than regular shark cartilage. At a level of 1 microgram of shark fin powder (one hundred thousandth of a gram) there was 100% inhibition of blood vessels in laboratory testing of this product.
History: Oriental medicine has used the shark fin for treatment of a variety of afflictions for over 2,000 years. Western medicine continues to "discover" remedies that have been in regular use by cultures in other parts of the world. Seagate Shark Fin is a high-tech freeze-dried preparation of this ancient remedy, eliminating the need to boil the raw material, which has been the principal ingredient in Chinese shark fin in soup.
Use: As a daily supplement, take 3 capsules 3 times per day. For additional antiangiogenic support, take 30 grams of powder per day. Can be taken with or between meals. |
